As mortgage
professionals, we are constantly concerned with protecting the security and
confidential nature of your private information whether it is related to
visits to our website or our individual
interaction with you.
Web Page Visits: Other than minimal
aggregate information about bulk visits to our web pages, we do not retain
individually identifiable information about you as a result of your visit to
our web pages unless you knowingly and voluntarily supply that information,
you contact us and/or you request us to contact you. We do not utilize
"cookies" to obtain information about you, except to the extant
they may be required when you voluntarily submit an online application. When
you do submit an application online, we utilize secure connections to
transmit the information you provide to us and the information is not sold
or shared with others, regardless of whether we are successful in originating
your mortgage, or not, except as allowed and required by the application,
processing and underwriting process..
Amount
of future contact regarding information or
special offers or applications: We will fully
comply with any and all telephone "do not
call" laws. When
you actually apply for a mortgage loan, you have the right to determine
the extent of future contacts from us or
associated firms, as you specify on the federally
mandated privacy policy form you will sign at the
time of application. If we have made an
unsolicited email contact to you, we will respect
your wishes if you do not want to speak with us or
you want us to cease such contact in the future. You may
also call or email us at any time to modify the
amount of future contact that you want from us or
our associates.
Confidentiality: Your confidential
information that is in paper form is stored as securely as is practical
and/or is destroyed to prevent unauthorized dissemination. Information that is
stored in our computers is password protected, and/or encrypted, and is only
available to our trusted staff. Information stored online/offsite is
encrypted and securely transmitted (ie: when it is modified or when it is
necessary to share the information with a trusted provider related to the
loan approval process).
Email
--- Viruses, Worms, Encryption, etc: Email that you receive
from us is, to the best of our ability, pre-scanned for the existence of harmful
content. We neither send, nor accept, executable files or files with active
content or macros without prior authorization from
the receiver. Any program type
content available on our website is, to the best of our knowledge, free of
viruses, "Trojan horses", etc. If they contain macros, they have
been tested for safety and are only included to
increase functionality for your ease or other
benefit.
If you are concerned about email
security, you have the option of utilizing
our public encryption key to send us scrambled emails that only we can read.

On-Line Application:
Online mortgage inquiries have
become a commodity on the internet. All too often, your on-line
pre-qualification request is not being made to an actual lender.
Instead, there are thousands of sites that gather pre-qualification
requests, who then market them to mortgage companies looking for clients
and/or they resell them to other lead companies who resell them again to
lenders. Lead companies profit by selling your confidential
information, not by getting you your financing. Even some lenders sell
the leads they generate thru their own marketing efforts or resell leads
they have purchased.
As stated above, we
do not sell or give away or refer your information to anyone, under any
circumstances, except with your prior approval. If you fill out our
pre-qualification form you will get one-on-one service from one of OUR OWN,
in-house, mortgage specialists and no-one else.
General
Policy: Any information that you provide to us
whether online, or otherwise, is treated as
private and confidential. It is neither sold nor
given away to anyone except as required by the
application process and/or approved by you. Our
company, as a whole, takes the confidentiality of
your personal information seriously, and every
reasonable measure is taken to earn and retain
your trust.
